Dita Sperling - Zupovich - Katz. was born in Kaunas The family lived across the Laisves aleja 15.04.1922.  Dita married Yehuda Zupovich who was the deputy police commander in the ghetto. Most of her family,grand parents father uncles and aunts were murdered in the ghetto years. Her husband was executed after being tortured.She was deported with her mother to  the extermination camp Stutthof where she had to dig dutches ,suffered hunger and survived the death march. She established a new family after the war and in April this year she celebrated in Tel Aviv her hundreds birthday.
